A Man of Faith and Values
Judge King is a man of values, ethical conduct, and character that he learned at home from two loving parents, the late Tom King, Sr. and Norma Tibbets King. He is married to Marsha King, and is the father of two sons, Blair and John, and one daughter, Rebekah.

Faith has always been of paramount importance in Judge King's life. A member of Vestavia Hills Baptist Church since 1984, Judge King has served in numerous capacities, including Vice-Chair of the Board of Deacons. He grew up in First Baptist Church of Birmingham and Huffman Baptist Church.
