Judge King Participates in Ceremony for the new North Jefferson-Blount Regional Library

On August 16, 2008, Judge King participated in the kick-off ribbon cutting ceremony for the new North Jefferson-Blount Regional Library in Warrior. Left to right, Warrior Councilmen Johnny Ragland and Jerry Bailey, Representative Alan Treadaway, Judge King, Warrior Mayor Rena Hudson, Warrior Councilman James F. Jett, Morris Mayor Craig Drummonds, and Kimberly Mayor Sammy Maze. Standing behind the group is Brooks Baker of the Warrior Library Foundation, who emceed the event.



Judge King participates in the Vestavia Hills "I Love America" Celebration

Judge King participated in the three events held this year as part of the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce "I Love America" celebration. Judge King speaks to Alabama Governor's School Honors Students

Judge King with the 2008 Alabama Governor's School Honors Students. For the fourth consecutive year, Judge King spoke to honors students from across Alabama at the Alabama Governor's School, a summer residential program held each year at Samford University. The School provides academic, creative, and leadership experiences for a limited number of rising high school seniors who have demonstrated exceptional ability and achievement in their studies.
